Join us for a deep dive into the world of the Northern Lights and the mysteries of space weather! Minna Palmroth, Professor of computational space physics at the University of Helsinki, will reveal what the space weather looks like and the Northern Lights can tell us about the current state of space.
The event concludes with the documentary Fire in the Sky (2019) which explores how this northern phenomenon affects both technology and animal behavior. The documentary is an YLE-ARTE co-production. It has been sold to over 30 countries world-wide. The documentary is written and directed by Simo Sipola.
